The C-1003 SOS Beacon is a complete US Coast Guard compliance kit that is family-friendly and easy to use; no flares necessary. The SOS beacon fulfills the USCG Day, Night, and Audible distress signal requirements with the included orange distress flag, quality marine whistle, and incredibly bright signal beam that lasts up to 60 hours and is visible up to 10 nautical miles (batteries included). Improved flotation also keeps the signal higher off the water compared to older models. Includes the Sirius Signal App for iOS and Android cell phones, taking boating safety to a new level using LTE service. Use the Sirius Signal app to automatically send status updates, get important safety advice, or enable the SOS alert and notification system. In the event of an emergency your one touch 911 activation will send an emergency message and your Google map location to your emergency contacts, and an SMS message with location to 911.
