Equipped with innovative MIPS technology, the helmet reduces the rotational forces exerted on the brain during a collision and offers superior protection to prevent injury from angled impacts. It also features a hybrid-shell construction consisting of a blend of Duramatter Mix Shell and lightweight polycarbonate for enhanced lightweight protection that strategically placed across the helmet. This then applied over a tough and rigid EPS foam liner.Oakley has included their ventilation technology in the MOD 5. Its a fully integrated gogglehelmet system that guarantees efficient venting and heat management. With perfectly aligned brim vents, the MOD 5 Pro aids cooling, allowing heat to escape from the goggles. This in turn reduces fogging, improving the clarity of vision with additional exhaust portsadjustable vents at the back of the helmet. A Boa fit system at the rear allows the helmet to be adjusted to deliver an exact fit.
